What the Cloud Changes
For SunSystems version 6 and up, moving to SunSystems Cloud happens as a like-for-like migration. Your data, chart of accounts structures, analysis dimensions, and existing integrations move across as they are. The core of SunSystems has not changed between your version and the cloud one.
SunSystems below version 6 requires a different approach. Parts of the system are rebuilt rather than just moved to correctly transfer to the cloud environment.
The biggest change becomes apparent after the migration with a range of added benefits of SunSystems Cloud:

- Automated updates on a regular schedule
- Zero downtime even during the system update
- Access all SunSystems Modules included in the subscription price
What It Costs to Migrate to the Cloud
A cost of the SunSystems Cloud migration is based on three separate components,
which vary depending on the project scope.
The SunSystems Cloud Subscription
Paid to Infor, this fee covers licensing for SunSystems Cloud and the platform it runs on, in one line.
The Migration
A one-off cost, quoted against your version, your data volume, and the number of entities involved to move your system to the cloud.
A support package
Included as part of the migration, covers extensive support and maintenance of your financial software by our team of experts.
Upgrade Process and Timeline
Typical SunSystems Cloud migration takes up to 90 days from start to finish. Some projects may require more time, depending on the system version, data volume, and the number of entities.
